The 89 Triumphs of the ancient Visconti di Modrone Tarot have been digitally restored with the original gold and silver engravings.
The Visconto di Modrone Tarot deck (also called the Visconti and Cay-yale), is one of the three surviving hand-painted Tarots with Visconto heraldic features. Only eleven Triumphs, seventeen court cards and thirty-nine numeral cards survived from the ancient deck, and are currently held in the collection of the Yale University Library. The digital restoration presents a complete deck of 89 cards in a new 136 x 65 mm format.
U unique masterpiece, fated to withstand the ravages of time.
